Listen to the sound of the Charlie Lucas Band …
You'll hear why they are one of the most popular new country bands arriving on the scene today. Gaining waves of momentum through touring the south, the band's recent single 'Not the Girl She Used to Be' is being featured on CMT Canada and the band's dedication to the roots of Texas Music that includes everyone from ZZ Top to Pat Green, is what separates them from the pack.
Charlie says, "I'm going to leave it all on the stage every night. When our show ends, I want to be certain that everyone had a great time and that they all felt, heard and experienced something exciting."
CLB fans describe the band as very good looking, energetic and passionate about everything they sing and every time they take the stage. The sound is upbeat in rhythm and laced with lyrics stabilized to what country music is all about. Raised by a music-loving family, Charlie spent most of his early years listening to classic rock and country music, while spending as much time as possible on the football field. It was only a matter of time until grass fields were replaced by stages, and the Friday night football atmosphere was replaced by the crowds from honky-tonks, festivals and dance halls across the south. Since taking the music stage for the very first time, Charlie started singing and entertaining, and he hasn't ever looked back.
Since 2008 when the band was formed, CLB has shared the stage with Pat Green, Robert Earl Keen, Kevin Fowler, Ted Nugent and many, many more. They have performed at such distinctive venues and events as Gruene Hall, Ziegfest and the Big 'Ol Texas Music Festival in the Rocky Mountains. The band currently tours from Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and Georgia – and is considering invitations from as far north as Calgary, Canada, in 2012.
The Charlie Lucas Band is currently working on its third album, due for release in 2012.
